GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will end the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 registration window (with no late fee) today, September 26. Interested and eligible applicants can complete the GATE 2025 application form by going to the official website of GATE at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
However, GATE 2025 enrollment with a late fee will end on October 7. According to the official brochure, the GATE 2025 admit card will be distributed on January 2. The GATE 2025 result date is March 19. The GATE 2025 scorecards will be accessible to download between March 28 and May 31.
GATE 2025 Registration: Documents required
Aspirants will need the following documents for GATE 2025 registration:
* High-quality image of the candidate’s photograph
* High-quality image of the candidate’s signature
* Scanned copy of Category (SC, ST) certificate in pdf format (if applicable).
* Scanned copy of PwD Certificate in pdf format (if applicable).
* Scanned copy of Class 10, and 12 marksheets and certificates.
* Scanned copy of Certificate of Dyslexia in pdf format (if applicable).
* Scanned copy of valid photo Identity document- Aadhar-UID (preferable), Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID
* The photo ID is required to have a name, date of birth of the candidate and unique photo ID number. This photo ID must be carried in original to the examination hall for verification.
GATE 2025 Registration: Application fees
The GATE 2025 application cost must be paid online using credit, debit, net banking, or UPI to finish the registration process. Applicants from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Persons with Disabilities, and Females must pay Rs 900 per paper as GATE 2025 application fee. All other applicants, including overseas nationals, have to pay the GATE 2025 application fee of Rs 1,800 per paper. Those who apply for GATE 2025 between September 26 and October 7 must pay an additional Rs 500 as a late fee.
GATE 2025 Registration: Date and Time
IIT Roorkee will hold the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 for admission to master's programs at IITs and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. The GATE 2025 test will be conducted in two shifts each day. According to the GATE 2025 exam schedule, the morning session will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (IST), followed by the afternoon shift from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.
The GATE 2025 exam will be computer-based. The GATE 2025 test will consist of thirty papers in total. The GATE 2025 exam lasts three hours.
