Jamia Entrance Exam Rescheduled: Jamia Milia University on Tuesday rescheduled the entrance examinations for admission to various of its courses, including several disciplines of Master of Arts (MA) and Master Business Administration (MBA), in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha.

The New Delhi-based central university will now conduct the entrance tests for its MA (Economics), MA (Applied Pschology), Diploma in Engineering (Regular/self-finaced), MBA, MBA (IB/self-financed), and MBA(Entrepreneurship and Family Business/self-financed) on June 9.
On June 10, the entrance examinations for B.Ed MA (Human Resource Management), and MA (Arabic) will be conducted by the university. A day later, on June 11, the university will conduct entrance examinations for MA (Social Work), MA (English), B.Sc Aeronautics (Mechanical/Avionics), Master of Computer Application (MCA), and MA (History) courses.
The Election Commission on March 16 announced the schedule for the 2024 Lok Sabha election. The polling will be conducted in seven phases across the nation from April 19 to June 1, the Election Commission (EC) informed. Subsequently, the counting of votes will take place on June 4.

The first phase of polling will be held on April 19, the second phase on April 26, the third phase on May 7, the fourth phase on May 13, the fifth phase on May 20, the sixth phase on May 25, and the seventh phase on June 1.
