Good morning, respected Sir/ Ma'am and my dear friends. Today, I am going to present a speech on Kargil Vijay Diwas in front of you. I hope I can convey my thoughts to you and thus pay my tribute to our brave soldiers.

Kargil Day is also known as Kargil Vijay Diwas. It is celebrated on 26th July. This day is very important as it reminds us of the valor and valor shown by our soldiers during the Kargil War that took place in 1999. It is a reminder to all of us to protect the sovereignty of our nation.

The Kargil War was fought at an altitude of 18,000 feet above sea level. And the conditions during that time were extremely difficult and inhospitable. The terrain there was also the toughest. All the soldiers who fought in the Kargil War are the epitome of selfless dedication and patriotism. Many of them sacrificed their lives for us and for the betterment of this great nation. So, on this day, we pay tribute to the martyrs, honour their love for the nation and the indomitable courage they displayed, which continues to inspire even today.

Kargil Vijay Diwas is a reminder of determination, patriotism and strength. It not only teaches us a lot, but is also a day of victory. It taught us that it is important to be prepared, be alert and have strategic skills. Along with this, another lesson we can learn from it is the importance of unity, which serves as the strength of the nation. Today, as we pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for us and made us win the Kargil war, let us remember them always as they live forever in our memories.
