Karnataka PGCET 2024 MTech: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the dress code for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024 MTech examination. KEA has also provided a detailed list of forbidden materials and Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam schedules. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 MTech, MArch will take place on September 18 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The Karnataka PGCET 2024 admit card has been made available at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. To download the Karnataka PGCET 2024 admit card, applicants must input their application number and the first four letters of their names. Aspirants must bring their Karnataka PGCET 2024 admit card together with a valid picture ID, such as an Aadhar card, driver's license, voter ID card, or passport.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 MTech Exam: Dress code and prohibited items

Aspirants must follow the dress code and refrain from bringing forbidden objects such as electronic devices (phones, pen drives, headphones, microphones, Bluetooth devices, wristwatches), foodstuffs, pencils, paper, erasers, caps, headgear, and masks into the test centre. According to KEA, drinking water will be available at the centre.

The official dress code requires male applicants to wear light-coloured, half-sleeve shirts and plain pants with no huge buttons or zip pockets. Kurta pyjamas and jeans are not allowed. Sandals or shoes with a thin sole are appropriate footwear.

KEA recommends that female applicants wear half-sleeved attire without excessive embroidery or huge buttons. Jeans and full-sleeved clothing are prohibited. High-heeled or thick-soled shoes are not permitted, and metal jewellery is prohibited, except Mangalsutra and Kalungura.

Karnataka PGCET 2024: Schedule and bell timings

- First bell (2:00 pm): Applicants must submit their Karnataka PGCET 2024 admit card and valid ID for entry, and invigilators will verify details before releasing OMR sheets.

- Second bell (2:15 pm): At 2:20 PM, the sealed question paper package will be sent to room invigilators, who will check the seal with the two applicants before opening it at 2:25 PM to deliver the booklets.

- Third bell (2:30 pm): Applicants can open their question booklets and start answering on their OMR sheets. No applicants are permitted to enter or exit the test hall until the session has concluded.

- Fourth bell (3:30 pm): This warning bell indicates that one hour of the examination has gone.

- Fifth bell (4:00 pm): The second caution bell shows there are thirty minutes left in the exam.

- Sixth bell (4:25 pm): The final caution bell indicates that only five minutes remain.

- Seventh and last bell (4:30 pm): The examination has ended. The invigilator confirms that all applicants have finished replying and collects the OMR answer sheets.

Karnataka PGCET 2024: Exam pattern

The Karnataka PGCET 2024 will be conducted in an offline manner. Applicants will be provided with an OMR sheet to mark their answers. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 MTech paper will have 100 marks. There will be 100 questions. Candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer, with no negative marking for incorrect responses.
