MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will open registration for the second round of National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024 tomorrow, September 5, for admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS and BDS programs at medical and dental colleges. The deadline to apply for MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 is September 10.
Applicants who enrolled during the first round of MBBS and BDS counselling but did not receive a seat or did not report to their assigned seat are not required to register again. Those enrolling for the first time in round 2 must pay the registration fee and make new choices of colleges and courses.
If an applicant who qualified in round 2 counselling is not assigned a seat, he or she can proceed to round 3 without having to register again.
If an applicant is given a seat in the NEET UG 2nd counselling 2024 but does not attend, his or her security deposit will be forfeited.
MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024: Who is eligible for 2nd seat allotment?
Those who qualify will be qualified for the second round of seat allocation.
- Registered candidates who were not assigned a seat during the first round of counselling.
- Registered candidates who obtained a seat but whose round 1 allotted seat was cancelled during the document verification on reporting for admission will be considered for allotment of a seat in the next round of seat allotment, with a changed category, subject to seat availability in the relevant category.
- Applicants who reported to their allotted institute during the first round of allotment and indicated that they were willing to upgrade in the second round.
- Those who were assigned a seat but did not participate.
- Aspirants who resigned online from the seat given in the first round.
