PUMDET Counselling 2024: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will release the seat allotment results for the Presidency University Master Degree Entrance Test (PUMDET) 2024 counselling today, September 4. Applicants who completed the choice-filling process can get the PUMDET round 1 seat allotment letter from the official website of WBJEEB at wbjeeb.nic.in.
To get the PUMDET 2024 seat allotment letter, aspirants must log in using their application number and password. According to the official notification, applicants must pay the seat acceptance fee and report to the designated institutes for document verification and admission between September 4 and September 6, 2024.
Aspirants who have elected not to upgrade their seat or have been assigned their first option should call the institute or visit their website to confirm the times and admission requirements. To download the PUMDET 2024 allotment letter, aspirants must pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000 through the official website.
PUMDET Counselling 2024: Upgradation rule
According to the official notice, if the topic of first choice is assigned, an applicant must accept admission, and all following selections will be automatically annulled. These candidates must choose NO upgrade, complete all admission processes, and obtain the signed physical reporting receipt.
If the topic of the second option is assigned first and the applicant receives provisional admission, they can choose YES upgradation to preserve the opportunity for their first choice open. Alternatively, they can select NO upgrade and proceed with the admission process. If the applicant chooses NO upgrade, he or she will be excluded from future seat allotment rounds.
If an upgrade occurs, a new admission letter will be provided to replace the prior one. If a reserved category in the applicant's round 1 allocation is cancelled during document verification, they will be eligible for the general category in later rounds, if appropriate.
