Published under the Centralised Employment Notice (CEN 02/2026) on May 18, 2026, this notification officially marks the return of highly competitive technical job tracks within Indian Railways. Aspiring candidates looking to secure a stable and lucrative career in the government sector can look forward to a total of 6,565 vacancies spread across various railway zones nationwide.

According to the official timeline, while the brief introductory advertisement is now active on the central board's digital portal, the comprehensive notification, including detailed syllabus structures, clear medical standards, and precise guidelines, will be uploaded on June 29, 2026. Immediately after the detailed manual is published, the RRB Technician Apply Online 2026 portal will be activated on June 30, 2026. Eligible applicants will have a one-month window to finalize their digital registrations and submit their preferences before the portal closes on July 29, 2026.
