No special classes during the half-year vacation:

In this context, School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamoshi, who participated in a function held in Kajamala, Trichy, said that special classes should not be held during the half-yearly holidays. Holidays are given for the rejuvenation of students. Therefore, they should not be stressed. Private schools in particular should strictly adhere to this.

New Buildings for Government Schools:

Speaking further, he said that 9,416 new classrooms have been built in government schools in Tamil Nadu. In the next phase, 7,898 classrooms are being built. The central government's austerity in education funding:

Responding to the Central Government's failure to allocate education funds for Tamil Nadu, our MPs have been continuously insisting on this. The Central Government says that a total of 20 objectives should be achieved. Of these, we have achieved 19. Kerala has achieved 20. But they are deceiving these two states by not allocating adequate education funds.
