Delhi CM Internship: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday announced the launch of the 'VIKSIT Delhi CM Internship Programme 2025' under which 87 students have been selected to work with delhi government for next three months.

The Chief Minister said the programme is designed to give young people hands-on experience in governance while contributing to Delhi’s development. Students pursuing graduation or post-graduation were eligible, and selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 20,000 during the internship.

Fair Selection Process:

Rekha Gupta shared that around 9,000 students applied, but only 87 were chosen after a careful and fair evaluation. She said, “The process was completely transparent. These students will now work on government projects and learn practical public administration.”

She also criticised previous governments, saying internship opportunities were often misused for political purposes and given to only a few people. “This time, selection is merit-based and fair,” she added.

The internship will last for three months, after which students will submit reports and insights about their experience working with the administration.
