The craze surrounding Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starrer Adipurush is getting bigger by each passing day. The trailer of Om Raut's highly anticipated mythological drama released today and it has been garnering immense praise from fans as well as followers on social media. While Prabhas will be playing Lord Rama, Kriti Sanon will be essaying the role of Sita and Saif Ali Khan will play Lankesh.

The major events of Ramayana are shown in an impressive way in the trailer. It starts with Lord Hanumana telling the tale of Raghava who went on to become a God after being born a human. The clip also has a glimpse of Ravana who could be seen praying in front of a huge shivling. He listens to a voice which says, "Brahmand mein tu jo bhi paane layak hai tu pa chuka hai, fir bhi tu rakshas hi hai. Lakshmi ko paale, Narayan ho jayega (you have already acquired everything that was worthy in the universe but you are still called a devil. Acquire Lakshmi and you will become Lord Vishnu)."

Adapted from the Sanskrit epic Ramayana, Adipurush is an upcoming mythological film, produced by T-Series and Retrophiles. The movie is written and directed by Om Raut and was concurrently filmed in Hindi and Telugu. Adipurush stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan who makes his Telugu debut, as well as Sunny Singh and Vatsal Sheth in significant parts.
