Popular celebrity couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have a knack for finding joy in small things. They celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary last year and are now proud parents to their daughter Vamika.

As the IPL craze has taken over the country, Anushka Sharma is often seen supporting her partner Virat and his team, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). On Sunday, Anushka was evidently thrilled when RCB dismissed the Rajasthan Royals for just 59 runs in 10 overs.

For the unversed, RCB's captain Faf du Plessis (55 off 44) and Glenn Maxwell (54 off 33) scored half-centuries to set a target of 171. The bowlers Wayne Parnell, Michael Bracewell and Karn Sharma gave a formidable performance and restricted Rajasthan Royals to just 59 runs in 10.3 overs.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also organised a dinner for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team at One8 Commune. The event was attended by several RCB players, including Faf du Plessis, Mohammed Siraj, Josh Hazlewood, Wanindu Hasaranga, who arrived wearing casual clothes. Some of the players also brought their families along to the dinner party.

Anushka, who is currently taking things slow on the work front, is often seen supporting RCB at IPL matches. On Screen, she will next be portraying the character of cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the upcoming film Chakda Xpress, which is a biopic about Goswami's journey to fulfill her dream of playing cricket for India despite facing misogynistic politics.

This marks the first time that Anushka will play the role of an ace cricketer. Her last appearance was in the film Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, and she has also produced acclaimed series such as Pataal Lok, Qala, and Mai: A Mother's Rage, as well as the Netflix film Bulbbul.
