Bigg Boss OTT 3: Salman Khan will reportedly not be hosting the third season of Bigg Boss OTT. Instead, Anil Kapoor has allegedly been roped in to host the controversial reality show. According to a recent post by The Khabri, Salman has been replaced by Anil. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the same. "#AnilKapoor to host new season of #BiggBossOTT3," the post read. Nonetheless, this news has left fans of the reality show disappointed.

This comes after, Endemol Shine India, the production house behind Bigg Boss, made an announcement on its official Instagram handle regarding Bigg Boss OTT 3 but later deleted it. They shared a poster featuring Salman Khan pointing towards the audience, accompanied by the question, "Who do you want to see in Bigg Boss OTT?" However, the post was later deleted, adding an air of mystery to the situation.

Bigg Boss OTT 3 is set to premiere on JioCinema in June 2024, with the exact release date to be announced shortly.

About Bigg Boss OTT 3

Taking over JioCinema, the show differs slightly from the regular televised version of Bigg Boss as it streams 24/7 on the platform, with edited highlights being made available as episodes. Contestants, known as housemates, live together in a specially constructed house under constant surveillance. They compete in various tasks and challenges to win immunity and other rewards while also facing weekly eliminations where housemates are voted out by the audience. The last remaining housemate wins the title and a cash prize.

YouTuber Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, making history as the first wild card contestant to claim the title. Despite concerns raised by fans regarding bias from host Salman Khan towards certain contestants, Elvish dismissed these accusations and secured his victory on the show. YouTuber Abhishek Malhan secured the position of second runner-up.

Meanwhile, reports have surfaced indicating that Chandrika Dixit, a Delhi-based woman who gained popularity on social media as Vada-pav girl, may join Bigg Boss OTT 3.
