YG Entertainment dropped an official video on February 6 KST, revealing exciting news for BLINKs worldwide: BLACKPINK is coming back in full force in 2025. The video confirmed that the iconic Kpop group will embark on a world tour and release a new album, marking their first group comeback since the release of their 2022 album Born Pink.

Jisoo, who has been busy with her solo endeavours, addressed the buzz surrounding the group's future, stating, "We're planning to put out an album and also go on tour. We'll be coming back as four this year." This announcement has silenced any doubts about the group's unity, especially as each member has been focused on their individual projects.

Following BLACKPINK's 2025 World Tour teaser, YG Entertainment shared an official statement, announcing dedicated internal efforts to support the group's activities. The agency confirmed that a specialized project team has been established to ensure a smooth and large-scale comeback. 2025 is shaping up to be a monumental year for BLACKPINK and its members, who are already preparing for major solo releases. Jennie is set to drop her solo album Ruby on March 7, while Lisa's album ALTER EGO will arrive on February 28, followed by her acting debut in The White Lotus, set to release on February 16. Rose, who released her debut album Rosie in December 2024, has made waves globally with the hit track APT., featuring Bruno Mars.
