Bobby Deol, over the course of his decades-long career, has experienced both highs and lows. The actor recently recalled the struggles, revealing that he looked for work by contacting people from the industry.
Bobby Deol acknowledged that he 'knocked on doors' and introduced himself to people in order to solicit opportunities. The Animal actor stated that he didn't feel guilty about doing this since finding job was essential when things weren't going too well for him.

Bobby Deol Asked For Work During A Bad Phase
Additionally, Bobby Deol contrasted his experience with the evolving film industry during an interview with India Today. He revealed that things were different when he started. Individuals would offer him independent work. But when more artist joined the business, things started to shift.
Bobby Deol said, "Pehle zamana alag tha, jab shuruat ki thi toh aisa nahi tha, pehle log khud aate the (It was different when I started out, as people would offer me work by themselves). Then the population of actors increased, it's sad that we forget that there are so many people coming in, and will continue to."
"When I was going through a bad phase, maine logo ke darwaze khatkhataye hain and bola hai ki main Bobby Deol hoon aur mujhe kaam dijiiye. I don't think there is anything wrong in that, as you need work. At least they will remember that Bobby Deol had come to meet me. This also gets translated to work sometimes. So, there is nothing to be ashamed of," he added.
Talking about his work front, Bobby Deol had a professional comeback with Sandeep Reddy Venga's Animal in 2023. He gained recognition for playing a bad role in the movie, which broadened his acting repertoire. He has also lately appeared in movies like Daaku Maharaaj and Kanguva.
