BTS' Jungkook supports NewJeans: On September 14, BTS’ Jungkook took to social media to express his support for the five talented members of the girl group NewJeans. Through his dog's Instagram account, @bowwow_bam, Jungkook shared two consecutive posts that appear to be a heartfelt show of solidarity with the NewJeans members, who are caught in the midst of a contentious conflict between their former label, ADOR, and HYBE, the parent company of ADOR.

BTS' Jungkook expresses solidarity with NewJeans

Although Jungkook's posts didn't explicitly mention NewJeans, the captions "Artists are not guilty" and "Don't use them" were widely understood to be a subtle yet powerful nod of support towards the group, with many fans and observers interpreting the messages as a clear reference to the ongoing controversy surrounding NewJeans.

However, soon after Jungkook’s post went viral, BIGHIT MUSIC, the record label behind Kpop sensation BTS, issued a concise statement corroborating Jungkook's intentions, affirming that the singer's recent social media posts were, in fact, a deliberate show of support and solidarity for his younger colleagues.

BIGHIT Music’s statement read, “We have confirmed that this was posted with the belief that, under no circumstances should young artists be dragged into disputes or used as shields.”
