BTS V, also known as Kim Taehyung, is currently serving in the military, which means he is away from his beloved pet dog, Yeontan. Yeontan, first introduced to ARMYs in Jin's birthday Vlive in 2017, has been a constant presence in V's life. The dog even made it to the album cover of V's debut solo album, Layover, released in 2023. Unlike other pets owned by his family, Yeontan is V's first personal pet.

Recently, V shared an adorable photo with Yeontan on Instagram while giving a shoutout to Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Asia Chow's new single, The Sleeping Dog. This gesture reflects V's deep bond with Yeontan and his appreciation for music that resonates with his love for pets.

In an exciting turn of events, BLACKPINK's Rosé also shared the same song on her Instagram story on July 10, praising it for its love for animals and pets. This crossover of support highlights the mutual appreciation among Kpop idols for meaningful music. Rose's pet dog Hank is also featured in the music video of the track.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the upcoming release of Kim Taehyung's TYPE 1 photobook, HYBE announced a global exhibition titled ARTSPACE: TYPE 1. This special event showcases BTS V's distinctive style and moments of relaxation, the central theme of his photobook. The exhibition features various zones, including exhibition and experience areas, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Taehyung's serene moments. The design reflects the flow of the photobook's chapters, offering fans a chance to experience the atmosphere firsthand.
