BTS V aka Kim Taehyung fans are eagerly anticipating his possible return in Jinny’s Kitchen Season 3. Co-director Park Hyun-Yong recently shared his thoughts on the idol's reappearance, sparking excitement among viewers. V starred as an intern in the first season of Jinny’s Kitchen, where his charming personality won over fans. Unfortunately, he couldn’t participate in the second season due to his mandatory military service, which began in December 2023. Korean actress Go Min-Si stepped in to replace him for Season 2. Known for her roles in Sweet Home, Love Alarm and Youth of May, Min-Si brought her flair to the role.
In a recent interview with Newsen on September 6, 2024, Park Hyun-Yong shared some insight into V's potential return. When asked if Taehyung would appear in Season 3, he said, “I don't know yet. I think I need to talk to PD Na Young-Seok. But if there are people looking for it, I think I can show them the results that match their expectations. There are people who are looking forward to it thanks to Taehyung-ssi (V). I think we'll know when the time comes.” While this isn’t a confirmation, it leaves room for fans to hope that V will make a comeback in the next season.

As V was serving in the military, Go Min-Si took over his role as the intern. In an earlier interview, Na PD explained the decision behind casting her. He mentioned that Min-Si’s varied career background, including working as a wedding planner before becoming an actress, made her an appealing choice. He also praised her adaptability, which fit well with the show’s structure.
Min-Si herself commented on V’s playful advice to her, which he left on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Don’t be slow. You’re going to have to be a bit quicker and make sure to do your job as the newbie.” During a press conference, Min-Si responded, “I’m not sure if I was fast enough, but I hope he enjoyed watching it. I will also wait for the day to meet him.”
