New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: The trailer of film 'Good Newwz' was released by actor Akshay Kumar on Monday. The trailer shows couples: Akshay Kumar-Kareena Kapoor and Dijit Dosanjh- Kiara Advani in lead roles where the couples (Batra's ) sperm gets exchanged that leads to all the mess in personal lives. One thing is for sure the trailer will make you watch it again and again. Sharing the trailer on Twitter, Akshay Kumar wrote, "Celebrate this Christmas with the Batra's & the biggest goof-up!"

The film marks the reunion of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar for the first time on big screen in ten years. The couple had last featured together in Kambakkht Ishq. Meanwhile, Diljit and Kiara will be sharing the screen for the first time on screen.

The comedy-drama is being directed by debutant Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar and co. under the banners of Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. It tells the story about two couples tryst with in vitro fertilisation (IVF). The film is scheduled to be released on December 27 (Friday) this year. The final date has been finalised after multiple delays-- 6 September and 29 November.

Talking about the star cast, Akshay Kumar had last featured in Housefull 4 that has garnered nearly Rs 200 crore at the box office. Among others, Kiara Advani last featured in Kabir Singh opposite Shahid Kapoor that turned out to be an abox office hit.
Kareena, on the hand, who featured in only one movie 'Veere Di Wedding' last year is linked to Angrezi Medium and Laal Singh Chaddha that is set to release in 2020 while Diljit Dosanjh had last featured in Arjun Patiala opposite Kriti Sanon earlier this year.
