Pushpa 2: Actor Jagadeesh has returned to the sets of Sukumar's much-anticipated film, "Pushpa: The Rule," after being released on bail. The actor had faced arrest in December 2023 on charges of abetting suicide by allegedly blackmailing a woman.

Jagadeesh, known for his role as Keshav, Allu Arjun's friend in the film, was arrested last year and subsequently granted bail, allowing him to resume shooting. Despite his release, the allegations against him remain, keeping the legal proceedings ongoing.

According to a source from the film's team, Jagadeesh's return is a relief for the production, which experienced delays during his absence. The actor is currently shooting a crucial sequence in Hyderabad alongside Allu Arjun. The source added, "His character, Keshava, plays a pivotal role in narrating the story, and his presence is essential for the film. While he is back on set, his legal situation continues."

Jagadeesh's arrest in December stemmed from a tragic incident where a junior artiste took her own life after being allegedly blackmailed by the actor. The victim's father filed a complaint, leading to Jagadeesh's arrest. Investigations revealed that the actor had taken compromising pictures of the deceased woman with malicious intent. The production team faced challenges due to the actor's absence, but with his return, the film is back on track. Although the bail has not been contested, the legal proceedings against Jagadeesh are far from over.

Singer Chinmayi, reacting to Jagadeesh's arrest, had predicted his release on bail, expressing frustration with the legal system. She stated, "This case will take years. This man will be on bail even if convicted like Gurmeet Ram Rahim. This is all there is."

As the actor resumes shooting for "Pushpa: The Rule," the industry and fans will be closely watching the developments surrounding the legal case, awaiting a resolution.
