The director also posted a note on Facebook.

Here's the post:

Vishnu, as per his note in Malayalam, did not know if meeting PM Modi was a dream or a reality.

"I am still in a situation where I can't distinguish whether what happened was a dream or reality. Today we had the great fortune of giving our first wedding invitation letter to Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji. It was a fulfilling experience when he blessed me with his hands on his head like a relative. I hope that Abhirami and I who are going to get married will not get a greater blessing than this. The energy that his words give will last a lifetime. Abhirami's father and mother were with us to witness this happy moment. 'I will try my best to attend,' These words alone are enough to be blessed even if you don't reach the wedding. Thank you Modiji."

Recently another Malayalam actor, Unni Mukundan, also grabbed headlines after he met PM Modi and was "mind-blown" after speaking to him for 45 minutes.

Revealing details about his interaction with the Prime Minister, the actor told India Today, “Since I was raised in Gujarat, I would always talk about that in my interviews as I did my schooling there. Unfortunately, I was not able to meet Mr Modi when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Not just as a PM but even as the CM, he used to visit our locality during festive times and meet the people. But as a kid I never got the chance to meet him then.

"There were times when I had the opportunity to fly kites when he was also there, but since I was 13, I never knew who Mr Modi was. But as an adult, it was an aspiration for me to meet him. Thanks to the kind of work, I did as an actor, be it Meipaddiyan or Malikappuram, I was invited and spent 45 minutes with him. It was mind-blowing!"
