If you missed grabbing tickets for BTS’ highly anticipated Arirang world tour, there’s still a chance to be part of the experience. Select concerts from the tour will be live-streamed in cinemas worldwide, allowing fans across the globe to witness the spectacle on the big screen. The special theatrical event, titled BTS World Tour ‘Arirang’ Live Viewing, will feature two major shows — one from Goyang, South Korea, on April 11 and the other from Tokyo, Japan, on April 18, with tickets going on sale on February 25.

Sharing his excitement, Marc Allenby, Chief Executive Officer of Trafalgar Releasing, said the initiative aims to bring one of the year’s biggest cultural moments directly to cinema audiences worldwide. He noted that presenting full-length concerts from both Goyang and Tokyo will allow fans everywhere to come together and enjoy the energy, scale, and emotion of the tour in a shared cinematic experience.

The Arirang world tour, named after the group’s upcoming album, is one of BTS’s most ambitious live ventures to date, spanning 34 cities and 82 shows. The tour kicks off in Goyang on April 9, before traveling across major international destinations, including several cities in the United States, from Tampa, Florida, to Chicago, as well as numerous global locations. The extensive journey will conclude on March 14 in Manila, marking a grand finale to what promises to be a historic tour.

The album Arirang is set for release on March 3 and marks BTS’ first new musical project since 2020’s Map of the Soul: 7. Alongside the album and the theatrical live streams, fans can also look forward to a special live comeback performance and an accompanying documentary, offering deeper insight into the group’s creative journey.

According to BTS, the album title draws inspiration from the traditional Korean folk song Arirang, symbolising emotional depth, longing and the rhythms of life. The group explained that the name resonated strongly with their current phase, as the new release explores universal themes of love and yearning, aiming to connect with audiences worldwide and leave a timeless impact across cultures.
