The Korean zombie thriller that emerged as a global phenomenon following its 2022 debut has commenced production on season 2, as announced by Netflix. The makers shared an interesting video of the cast's script reading session on social media. In addition to old cast, new faces in the series include Squid Game stars Kim Si-Eun and Roh Jae-Won. This exciting announcement has sparked even more enthusiasm among fans.

The video opens with a blood-red splash whenever he touches anything, especially the script. It also introduces old and new cast members gathering for a script reading session. The bloodstains hint at what All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 has in store for its viewers. Sharing the video on X, Netflix post reads, "The zombie virus has spread all over Seoul... All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is NOW IN PRODUCTION. Starring Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won, and Yoon Ga-i."

All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 Old And New Cast

The new faces in All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 include Lee Min-jae (Weak Hero: Class 2), Kim Si-eun (Squid Game Season 2) and Yoon Ga-i. They are joined by Squid Game Seasons 2 and 3 fame Roh Jae-won, who takes on the role of Han Du-seok, a National Intelligence Service team leader. The original cast, including Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun and Lomon, are reprising their roles.

All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 Plot

Set in the fictional South Korean city of Hyosan, season 1 saw a group of high school teenagers who struggle to navigate a zombie outbreak. Season 2 will pick up after its conclusion. The new chapter of All Of Us Are Dead will follow Nam On-jo (Park), who is now a university student in Seoul, as she struggles to move on from the trauma of the friends she lost. When a new wave of infection hits the city, she finds herself trapped in another deadly fight for survival. Amidst this, she finds new allies played by Lee, Kim and Yoon Ga-i, a group of hardened university seniors with their own methods of surviving, as per Variety.

All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 Crew Members

The directing duo of Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su return to helm the sophomore instalment, working on the show with a script penned by writer Chun Sung-il, who also marks his return.
