Bakaiti Trailer Out: ZEE5 has recently unveiled the trailer of its upcoming original web series Bakaiti. The web series is a slice-of-life family drama produced by Dice Media. The show marks the much-awaited return of actors Sheeba Chaddha and Rajesh Tailang as on-screen parents, bringing warmth and depth to the story. The trailer for Bakaiti gives a heartfelt glimpse into the everyday life of a middle-class Indian family. The web series is about how families fight, struggle, forgive, and continue to love each other through it all.
OTT platform Zee5 took to its Instagram handle to share the trailer of the web series with the caption, “Middle-classiyat ki iss kahani mein aapko milega pyaar aur takraar ka combo aur #Bakaiti ka poora dose! #Bakaiti Trailer Out Now. Premiering 1st August, only on #ZEE5.” Bakaiti will premiere on ZEE5 on 1st August 2025, offering viewers a fresh, emotional, and relatable look into the ups and downs of a modern Indian family. The web series also stars Tanya Sharma and Aditya Shukla in key roles.

Bakaiti Web Series Plot
Set in the lively lanes of old Ghaziabad, the web series revolves around the Kataria family, a quirky yet close-knit group where arguments and laughter go hand in hand. At first glance, it might seem like a typical household filled with complaints like “Cooler band kar diya?”, “Light bill bhar do”, or “Paani ki tanki bhar gayi” but underneath all the daily noise lies an unspoken, deep-rooted love that binds the family together.
Bakaiti web series’ trailer introduces viewers to Naina played by Tanya Sharma. She is a sensible and driven 21-year-old who suddenly finds herself sharing space and patience with her mischievous younger brother Bharat played by Aditya Shukla. In the show Aditya is a cricket-obsessed teenager who often pushes boundaries. Their daily fights and funny banter unfold under the eyes of their parents, Sanjay played by Rajesh Tailang and Sushma played by Sheeba Chaddha, who are trying their best to manage not just the household, but also their own quiet struggles.
In the show Sanjay and Sushma are seen carrying the weight of financial pressure, emotional baggage, and the daily grind of middle-class life. The family’s difficulties become more intense when they face the possibility of having to sell their ancestral home which is a painful yet realistic conflict faced by many families today. Adding more layers to the plot is the dynamic between Sanjay and his younger brother Ajay. Sanjay is emotionally driven and idealistic, while Ajay is more practical and focused on stability. Their clashing opinions and unresolved tensions bring additional drama and depth to the story.
