BTS V, also known as Kim Taehyung, recently purchased a brand-new, opulent house in Seoul's Cheongdam-dong neighbourhood. According to a 'certified copy of the real estate register' cited by Sportschosun.com, the singer bought the luxurious penthouse on September 17. The purchase came shortly after his release from the military. The mansion, PH129 Cheongdam, has remained the most expensive penthouse in South Korea since it was first launched in 2020.

BTS V's new residence costs 14.2 billion won (Rs 89.8 crore). There are three bathrooms and five rooms in the residence. According to reports, there is 'no establishment of a collateral security right on the register,' so 'it is presumed that the purchase was made in full cash without a mortgage loan.' In May, approximately one month before his release from the military, BTS V signed the deal. Following the payment of the remaining money this month, he assumed ownership.
