Shots Fired Outside Disha Patani's Bareilly Home

For the unversed authorities said two rounds of aerial firing were reported at about 4.30 AM outside Disha Patani’s house in Bareilly earlier this week. The actor's mother, Padma Patani, father, Jagdish Patani, a retired DSP, and sister, Khushboo Patani, a former army officer, were all at the house when the shots were fired. No one was injured in the incident. The Dhelana brothers, Virendra and Mahendra, have claimed responsibility for the attack. In a purported social media post, the two men issued a warning to the film industry.

What Was The Reason For Firing?

The Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang took responsibility for the incident and said that the attack was motivated by disdain for 'spiritual figures.' The police found two spent cartridges outside the house after getting information from Jagdish Patani. To protect the family while the inquiry is being conducted, security personnel were stationed at the residence.

Khushboo Patani, a former army soldier, recently criticised religious speaker Aniruddhacharya Maharaj for his comments regarding cohabitation.
