Made in India – A Titan Story: OTT platform Amazon MX Player released the first look of their upcoming web series Made in India – A Titan Story. The poster was released in celebration of the 121st birth anniversary of India’s visionary industrialist and Bharat Ratna awardee J.R.D. Tata. The web series will bring to life the inspiring story of Tata’s legacy, with veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah playing the lead role. The six-episode series is based on Vinay Kamath’s well-regarded book Titan: Inside India’s Most Successful Consumer Brand. It is scheduled to premiere early next year on Amazon MX Player and will be available for free streaming.

Made in India – A Titan Story movie’s first look poster of the series was unveiled recently, revealing Naseeruddin Shah’s powerful transformation into Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata. The caption of the post read, “remembering the legend JRD Tata jo sach mein the “ahead of his time”, on his 121st birth anniversary! unki yaad mein dekhiye ek special sneak peak of ‘Made in India - #ATitanStory’, featuring the brilliant @naseeruddin49, jo jald hi aa raha hai aapke screens par, only on #AmazonMXPlayer” Known for his deep and impactful performances, Shah captures the essence of Tata’s character with finesse. Made in India – A Titan Story Movie Details

Made in India – A Titan Story follows the life and achievements of J.R.D. Tata, one of India’s most respected and visionary business leaders. The series aims to showcase his journey of creating not just successful companies, but also values, institutions, and a strong sense of nation-building. The show has been directed by Robby Grewal, produced by Prabhleen Sandhu, and written by Karan Vyas. Alongside Naseeruddin Shah, the web series stars Jim Sarbh as Xerxes Desai, the founder of Titan Watches. Other key cast members include Namita Dubey, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Kaveri Seth, Lakshvir Saran, and Paresh Ganatra.

Naseeruddin Shah’s Recent Work

On the professional front, Naseeruddin Shah was last seen in IC814: The Kandahar Hijack, a web series that is available to stream on Netflix. The show features an ensemble cast including Vijay Varma, Pankaj Kapur, Patralekhaa, Aravind Swamy, Kumud Mishra, Manoj Pahwa, Dia Mirza, and Amrita Puri.
