O' Romeo: Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri's upcoming action thriller with director Vishal Bhardwaj has finally received its official title, O' Romeo. This project marks the fourth collaboration between Shahid and Vishal. The actor has portrayed diverse characters in his films like Kaminey and Haider and now in O' Romeo. He will be seen in a new role set in a world, he has not explored before. The makers have officially announced the title and release date of their upcoming movie. The look has already sparked buzz among the audiences.

Shahid Kapoor And Triptii Dimri Starrer O' Romeo

Taking to his Instagram handle, Vishal Bhardwaj revealed the first look of the film. The poster features a man (presumably Shahid Kapoor) with his face covered by a cowboy hat and his tattooed hand. The first look also shared a short preview of the film's title track. Sharing the post, the makers wrote, "Aa raha hai… #ORomeo.. this Valentine’s Day."

Recently, Shahid announced the film's wrap-up on his social media handle. He also praised his co-stars in the note. His post read, "This post can’t be complete without including the stellar cast @tripti_dimri who I had a total blast with. Watch out for her act in this one. @iamnanapatekar thank you for those oh so layered scenes we got together @official_farida_jalal ji for your warmth and grace @avinashtiwary15 for your playlist on that drive can’t reveal much more here brother @hussain.dalal who completes me and is total rager in the film."

He added, "Have to say @dishapatani you and me killed the 2 songs and I can’t wait to collaborate again you are so much fun. And there’s is one more actor one of my favs who can’t really be revealed but it is such a pleasure to have him with us on this one. And lastly @nadiadwalagrandson for putting this all together. This one’s SUPER SPECIAL.”

O’ Romeo is touted to be a visually rich action thriller, blending intense drama with an emotionally charged storyline. Besides Shahid and Triptii in lead roles, Vishal Bhardwaj's directorial also stars Nana Patekar, Randeep Hooda, Avinash Tiwary and Disha Patani. Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment film, the film releases on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026.

Meanwhile, Shahid was last seen in the action thriller Deva alongside Pooja Hegde. Triptii Dimri, on the other hand, was seen in the recent release Dhadak 2 with Siddhant Chaturvedi, which hit the theatres on August 1, 2025.
