Paresh Rawal recently stirred buzz on social media when he announced that he has quit the highly anticipated movie Hera Pheri 3. The actor, who gave fans the iconic character Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, earlier clarified that his decision to step out is not because of creative differences with director Priyadarshan. Now, in a recent interview, he revealed the actual reason behind opting out of the movie. Paresh's statement gave a hope that he can be part of the beloved franchise in the future.
On his shocking decision of quitting Hera Pheri 3 after generating significant excitement, Paresh Rawal in a conversation with Mid-Day, said, “I know it came as a shock to many. We three make a great combination with Priyadarshanji directing us, but the fact is that I opted out because today I don’t feel like a part of it. It is final for the time being. I always say never say never for anything. One cannot predict what happens in the future.”
Reacting to rumours of creative differences with Priyadarshan, the actor shut down the reports by talking about his bond with him.
He added, “I love Priyadarshan and have great respect and faith in him as a director. We have done wonderful movies together in the past and will continue to do so. There were no creative differences, nor is there a possibility of having any with him.” He also clarified that money was not the issue, saying, “No amount of money compares to the love and respect of my audience. Right now, I just felt that it is a role I don’t want to do, that’s all.”
Paresh Rawal's decision to leave the movie led to a massive debate on social media. Many users stated that there was no Hera Pheri without Babu Rao, and they demanded his return.

About Hera Pheri 3
The franchise debuted in 2000 with storyline of three men and their lives filled with mishaps and comedy. The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Tabu and Gulshan Grover in key roles. Following the success, the second instalment, Phir Hera Pheri, was released in 2006, which marked the return of the OG cast. Now, fans are eagerly awaiting for third instalment and what will happen to Babu Rao's character.
