Sonakshi Sinha Breaks Silence on Rough Patch With Husband Zaheer Iqbal; Reveals Going To Couple’s Therapy To Save Their Relationship

B-town's most notorious couple, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, often post their goofy and unfiltered videos on social media, which are loved by their fans. Sonakshi recently spoke in an interview about the rough patch Zaheer and she faced after being together for 3 years and how they overcame that phase. She said that their feelings for each other were stronger than the phase. The couple decided to tie the knot in 2024 after dating for a long time. They had their wedding in an intimate ceremony at their home in Bandra, Mumbai.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal were together for 7 years before tying the knot last year. Just like any other relationship, the couple had their share of ups and downs. While talking about their struggles on a podcast with Soha Ali Khan, Sonakshi said, "Just when we were three years into the relationship, we had a phase where we just wanted to pull each other’s hair out. No matter what we did, we just couldn’t understand each other’s perspective.”

While talking about how they overcame the "three-year itch," the actress said, "But we did know in our hearts that we had to make this work, and we did couples therapy, and it was Zaheer who suggested it. I was open to it, and after two sessions, we were back on track. It helped so much to understand what the other person thinks, and that what they say is not necessarily what they mean.”

Sonakshi also revealed in the same podcast that it was she who said 'I love you' after just one week of dating. Zaheer, however, laughed in her face and thought she was crazy. She also talked about how it was not Zaheer's looks that attracted her, but it was his constant effort and love that wooed her.
