Rakhi Sawant’s leaked hospital pictures went viral on social media several days before the actress and her ex-husband confirmed the news of her health condition. Her former spouse Ritesh Singh earlier told News18, that Rakhi was hospitalised due to chest and stomach pains. Later, the doctor discovered a tumour in her uterus. Now, the actress has herself confirmed the news and stated that the tumour is 10 cm big. She further updated that she will be undergoing surgery on Saturday. Rakhi is also confident that she will bravely fight this obstacle in life.
In a conversation with E-Times, Rakhi said “I will be fine very soon, I am facing health issues. I’ve a 10 cm tumour and will be undergoing surgery on Saturday. I am not able to talk much about my health, but Ritesh will keep you all updated about my condition. He will inform everyone about the hospital also. I will show the tumour, once the surgery is done. I had to be admitted because, before the surgery, things needed to be brought under control like blood pressure and all. I don’t know the exact details as I am not a doctor, I’m an actor.”
She added, “Doctors are best here and they are doing their job perfectly. I’ve never given up in life and fought many obstacles and battles since childhood. I am going to fight in the operation theatre as well (starts crying), I know nothing is going to happen to me as I’ve my mother’s blessings with me, she’s there with me.”
“I am a fighter and I’ll come back, nothing will happen to me. Chota sa tumor hi toh hai nikal jaayega… (cries). I’ll come back and dance and sing. I’ll entertain people again. I had no idea that there was a tumour, I was dancing in the towel and when I returned home I fainted. Ritesh ji rushed me to the hospital. After all the reports it was found I have a tumor. But I know I’ll be back to entertain everyone,” she concluded.
Earlier, her former husband Adil Khan Durrani alleged that her hospitalisation 'is a drama' and it has been done to escape from the legal proceedings of the infamous leak video case.
