Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaan Box Office Report Day 10: Karan Johar's directorial comeback film, 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', is proving to be a blockbuster at the box office. The movie reached a significant milestone on Sunday, August 6, crossing the Rs 100 crore mark (nett) in domestic collections. With a jump in earnings, the romantic drama is set to continue its successful run in the coming days.

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' hit the theatres on July 28 with immense excitement from fans. The movie is enjoying tremendous success at the box office.

The movie received a favourable response upon its release from both critics and the audience. On day 10, the film is projected to have earned around Rs 13.50 crore in India. The second Sunday turned out to be an important day for the team as the total collection in India reached Rs 105.08 crore nett after 10 days.

Reportedly, the film recorded an occupancy rate of 46.07 per cent on August 6. With such promising figures, 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' is expected to enjoy a successful run for the upcoming weeks.

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' is a romantic comedy with a screenplay penned by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy. The film is a collaborative effort between Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios. Alongside the lead pair of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, the movie boasts a talented ensemble cast including Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim, contributed to the film as an assistant director.

The movie was filmed in various locations, including Mumbai, New Delhi, Russia, and Jammu & Kashmir. The music for the film has been composed by Pritam, while Manush Nandan was in charge of the cinematography.

In a recent interview, Ranveer Singh shared his perspective on the film's success, expressing that he doesn't pay too much attention to the numbers game. Instead, he remains focused on his craft, performance, and character, trying his best to contribute to the collaborative effort that goes into making a movie successful.

"If the film is a success, it is not my own, it's everybody's. The same goes with failure as well. As they say, you learn more from your failures than success. I've learnt a few things in the past. But at the moment, I'm delighted with the love shown towards Rocky," he added.
