Sai Dharam Tej is one of the leading actors in the South Indian industry delivering hits including 'Virupaksha' which gained immense fame and success at the box office. The actor on July 18 announced to take a six-month break from films and will keenly be focusing on his physical fitness to deliver his best on screen.

The 'Bro' actor had a brutal bike accident in September 2021 and was bedridden for months. Though he nearly escaped major head injuries, the actor suffered soft tissue injuries and a collarbone fracture. It looks like the break he wishes to take now is related to the accident he had two years ago.

According to a report in India Today, the actor said, "There shouldn't be any complaints from the audience. I want to give it my all for all my movies. I need to undergo a small surgery, and I will come back stronger. I will probably need around six months to recover completely."

Sai Dharam Tej also known as Jet Panja on Instagram will be sharing his next screen space with his uncle Pawan Kalyan in 'Bro.' The film will hit theaters on July 28 and is touted to be an action-comedy.

'Bro' also features Ketika Sharma, Rohini, Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Subbaraju, Raja Chembolu, and Priya Prakash Varrier in pivotal roles. The music of the film is given by S Thaman.

The film is directed by Samuthirakani. The trailer of 'Bro' will be released online on July 21. In the film, Sai Dharam Tej will be essaying the role of Markandeyulu aka Mark, whereas Ketika Sharma will be portraying as his love interest.
