Weekend is finally here and here is a list of South Indian movies and shows that you can binge watch on the OTT platforms with your friends and family. From Shaakuntalam to Rudhrudu, check what to watch where on OTT:

RUDHRUDU OTT RELEASE

Sun NXT

Choreographer and actor Raghava Lawrence headlined a commercial entertainer titled Rudhran, known as Rudhrudu in Telugu. The movie hit the theatres simultaneously with the original in the first half of April. Apart from Lawrence, the movie stars Priya Bhavani Shankar in a female lead, while Sarath Kumar played the antagonist. Rudhrudu is streaming now on Sun NXT.

NEWSENSE OTT RELEASE

The popular Tollywood production company People Media Factory created the online series Newsense. Navdeep and Bindu Madhavi play the key characters in the show, which tries to portray the negative aspects of the media. Newsense is currently available to view on Aha.

YAATHISAI OTT RELEASE

'Yaathisai' is an intriguing account of South India's rich history, based on the life of the Pandyan monarch Ranadheera. The movie is currently premiering on Amazon Prime Video.

SHAAKUNTALAM OTT RELEASE

Shaakuntalam is a modern retelling of Shakuntala and King Dushyant's love and yearning, based on Kalidas' drama "Abhignyana Shakuntalam." The movie stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Dev Mohan in the lead roles. Though Shaakuntalam failed to impress the audience in theatres, it is currently premiering on Amazon Prime Video.
