Renowned figure in the Indian film industry, Rakesh Roshan, is gearing up to unveil a documentary titled 'The Roshans,' shedding light on the family's impactful legacy. Despite their significant contributions, the family's story remains unfamiliar to many. To rectify this, the veteran actor-filmmaker has enlisted the support of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for this special venture. Ongoing reports have strongly suggested that Shashi Ranjan is poised to direct a documentary chronicling the remarkable seven-decade journey of the Roshan family in the film industry.

The documentary is expected to encompass various facets, delving into the contributions of Hrithik Roshan's grandfather, the esteemed music director Roshan, as well as spotlighting Rakesh Roshan's directorial ventures, Rajesh Roshan's musical achievements, and, naturally, Hrithik's illustrious acting career.

Expressing his gratitude, Rakesh Roshan recently extended thanks to Shah Rukh Khan for his involvement in capturing the essence of The Roshans. In a Instagram post, Rakesh Roshan shared a photo featuring himself, Shah Rukh Khan, director Shashi Ranjan, and others, along with a candid still of the two stars smiling for the camera. Along with this, he wrote, "Thank you Shahrukh for your love, warmth & contribution to 'The Roshans'…" Previously, Rakesh Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan have collaborated in films such as Karan Arjun, Koyla, and King Uncle.

In the accompanying caption, he expressed the delight of shooting with Shah Rukh, highlighting the absolute pleasure he experienced while engaging in conversation with the Bollywood superstar.

'The Roshans' documentary is set to narrate the compelling story of the prominent Roshan family, spanning across generations. It will delve into the legacy of acclaimed music director Roshan (Hrithik’s grandfather), explore the filmography of Rakesh Roshan, delve into the musical contributions of Rajesh Roshan, and showcase Hrithik’s journey in the acting realm.
