The Kerala Story 2 encountered legal issues prior to its release, which has caused controversy due to its depiction of purported forced conversions in the state. Despite the Kerala High Court's temporary halt on the sequel's release, internet ticket sales were still going strong. While the matter was still pending before a division bench, a single bench was informed on Friday.

The Kerala Story 2 ticket sale submission was made before Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas on behalf of the petitioners, Sreedev Namboodiri and Freddy Francis, whose petitions had caused the court to halt the film's release for 15 days on Thursday.

Additionally, the Kerala HC judge stated that it would be illegal to screen the film without higher authorities' examination due to 'the possibility of communal disharmony or denigration of a community also being prima facie involved in the film'.

According to the petitioners, they would check to see whether any shows were screened during the day and, if so, they would think about filing a contempt case.

The Kerala Story 2 Tickets Available?

The Kerala Story 2 was accessible in a number of cities on BookMyShow, according to a rert by IndiaTV. Nearly all of Mumbai's Maxus Cinemas were accepting reservations for events, with 21 locations listed as ticket sellers. The movie was screened in 14 theaters in Delhi, including M2K, G3S, and MSX Cinemas, on Friday as planned. A 'theater servers are not reachable' alert appeared when we clicked on the shows, so we checked and found that the movie could not be reserved.

The Kerala Story 2, which was produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, is the follow-up to the 2023 movie, which also sparked a lot of controversy due to its content. The film centers on young Hindu women who are purportedly ensnared in a web of deceit, seduced into interfaith unions, and subsequently abused to convert to Islam.
