Starring Adah Sharma in the lead role, 'The Kerala Story' hit the theatres on May 5, 2023. The film came out to be one of the highest-grossing films of the year. After its great theatrical run, a lot of people were anticipating its OTT debut. However, a number of media outlets claim that the producers were unable to locate a dependable streaming partner, which led to the delay of the digital debut.

Recently, 'The Kerala Story' producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah opened up about the film’s OTT release. He said, in a conversation with OTTplay, “The Kerala Story has been a very special film. It has broken a lot of industry norms. So as far as the OTT release is concerned, we are trying to do something which is out of the ordinary. Toh bas thoda sa aur waqt se dijiye, hum aapko kuch surprising news denge, aisa hume lag raha hai.”

Adah Sharma's latest movie 'The Kerala Story' broke several records at the Box Office. The movie faced many barriers ahead of its release due to nationwide controversies, but it turned out to be one of the most successful movies in the South film industry.

The 2023 Indian Hindi-language drama film has been directed by Sudipto Sen. The film has been produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani. The story revolves around a group of Keralan women who were forced to join the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria and convert to Islam.
