TV actress Dipika Kakar, who was seen in Sasural Simar Ka, is already battling cancer and is now diagnosed with a stomach cyst. This is the second health issue she has been dealing with after undergoing liver surgery. Dipika Kakar will soon undergo another surgery as her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, revealed in his YouTube vlog.
Dipika Kakar's 22 Percent Liver Was Removed In June 2025
In June 2025, Dipika underwent surgery in which 22 per cent of her liver was taken out because of cancer. Recently, a 13 mm (1.3 cm) cyst was discovered in her stomach due to complaints of stomach pain.
Shoaib revealed in his vlog, “The pain became severe on Friday night, and we immediately went to the hospital. A CT scan confirmed the presence of the cyst.” Dipika also said that she has been experiencing pain in her left shoulder. But the doctors have clarified that the shoulder pain has nothing to do with the cyst.

Dipika Kakar To Undergo Minor Surgery
According to Shoaib, the doctors have decided to remove the cyst through a minor procedure next week. He said, “It will not be a major surgery, but the cyst will be burned. Dipika will be hospitalised for three to four days, and the treatment is scheduled for Tuesday.”
He also shared that earlier doctors had warned them about the possibility of recurrence because the tumour was aggressive. Thankfully, this cyst was detected at an early stage. Check out the video below;

Dipika Kakar's TV Debut and wedding with Shoaib Ibrahim
Dipika Kakar started her television career with Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi, but she gained popularity with Sasural Simar Ka. She met her co-star Shoaib Ibrahim on the sets and fell in love with him. They dated for a couple of years and got married in 2018 in a traditional ceremony with family and close friends. Dipika and Shoaib are blessed with a baby boy named Ruhaan on June 21, 2023.
