British-Indian singer and music producer Manj Musik has been admitted to hospital in London following a serious accident. The unexpected incident has forced him to cancel his scheduled performance at the Zee Cine Awards 2026 in Mumbai. The artist is widely known as the former frontman of the iconic bhangra-fusion group RDB (Rhythm, Dhol, Bass), which he formed with his brothers Surjeet Singh and the late Kuldeep Ral. The group gained international recognition in the early 2000s for blending traditional Punjabi bhangra with urban hip-hop and global sounds.

Who Is Manj Musik?

Manj, whose real name is Manjeet Singh Ral, was set to perform his popular track Swag Mera Desi at the star-studded awards ceremony. However, reports confirm that the accident took place in London just before his planned travel to India. Due to medical advice, he has cancelled his immediate travel and will now focus on recovery. After the tragic death of his brother Kuldeep in 2012, Manj began his solo journey in 2014. He later founded his own music label, Muzik ONE Global, and continued to deliver hit songs in India and abroad. His notable Bollywood tracks include Whistle Baja and Laal Ghaghra, alongside the widely celebrated Swag Mera Desi, a collaboration with rapper Raftaar.
