'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' is one of the most popular television shows of all time and receives a lot of love from the audience. The show has always been hitting the headlines due to the different twists and turns but this time for a serious reason. Actors Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe, who recently joined the show, have been fired from 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' by producer Rajan Shahi for their unprofessional behaviour.

According to reports, Shehzada threw tantrums on set and mistreated the crew and his behaviour disrupted the work atmosphere of the production house. Pratiksha reportedly did not match up to the production house's expectations in terms of acting and the requirements of her character.

While speaking to ETimes, Shruti Ulfat, who is seen in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' as Vidya, expressed her shock at Rajan Shahi's decision to fire Shehzada. She said, "Its quite a jolt for everyone like we hear that the production has been facing issues and everyone is aware of it. The production house has given its best to try and work things around but it seems like it did not work out and hence Rajan Shahi took this firm decision."

She added, "As actors we give long hours to our work and hence needs to be respected. Rajan came on sets today and this was announced. I guess its a lesson for everyone. I know eventually its a creative call and not much you can say or do about it."

Hina Khan, Karan Mehra, Shivangi Joshi, Mohsin Khan, Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda were earlier seen in lead roles.
