Wrestler and actor John Cena delighted fans by singing Shah Rukh Khan's song 'Bholi Si Surat' from the movie Dil To Pagal Hai, which released in 1997. Wrestler Gurv Sihra shared a video on Instagram on Sunday showing the actor singing during their gym session. The video commenced with Gurv introducing John Cena as a huge Shah Rukh Khan admirer as they further indulge in fun banter.
Gurv introduced Cena as "pretty big Shah Rukh Khan fan" when the latter expressed, "You never know what you can learn when you opt for the path of growth. Here we are at the gym, focusing on our development, but there are numerous avenues for growth, and I'll do my utmost to learn a song." Gurv then remarked, "This one's for you, Mr. Shah Rukh Khan. It goes like this, it's a big hit song." As Gurv sang the lines, John echoed them – "Bholi Si Surat...Aankhon mein masti...Dur khadi sharmaaye, aaye haaye." Gurv posted the video with the caption, "Lifting weights and singing Shah Rukh Khan songs @johncena @wweindia @iamsrk."
In response to the video, a fan expressed, "Just picture John Cena and SRK (Shah Rukh Khan) sharing the screen in a movie." Another added, "This is incredible. Cena is flawlessly singing a Hindi song." John Cena has expressed his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan on numerous occasions.

In 2018, he tweeted, "Neither power nor poverty can make your life more magical or less torturous-Shah Rukh Khan." To this, the superstar responded, "Thanks my friend for spreading the goodness. It’s important to inspire so many kids who look up to u as their hero."
Shah Rukh Khan's work front
Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in 'Dunki', which is currently available for streaming on Netflix. The film delves into the concept of 'donkey flight,' an illicit method of immigration. Directed and edited by Rajkumar Hirani, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Abhijat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon, the movie was produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jio Studios, and Rajkumar Hirani Films.
Leading the cast are Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani. The film premiered in cinemas worldwide on December 21, 2023, garnering substantial success with a global box office gross of over ₹470 crore (approximately US$59 million). This achievement exceeded its production and marketing costs of ₹120 crore (about US$15 million), making it the sixth highest-grossing Hindi film and the eighth highest-grossing Indian film of 2023.
