Sanjay Singh Bail: A huge crowd of AAP supporters gathered outside the Tihar jail as the party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh walked out of the jail on Wednesday evening after he was granted bail by the Supreme Court in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. While hundreds of AAP members cheered and welcomed Singh by raising slogans, he tried to stop them by saying, "Jashn manane ka waqt nahi aya hai, sangharsh ka waqt hai" in Hindi which translates to "this is not a time to celebrate but to struggle."
Sanjay Singh in his short address outside the Tihar jail also expressed confidence on the release of other party leaders including the national convener Arvind Kejriwal.

After addressing the supporters he left to meet Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
Singh had been lodged in the high-security prison here since October 13, 2023. He came out of the facility at 8:11 pm via gate number three. Jail officials confirmed his release following the completion of bail procedures.
Many AAP supporters gathered outside the jail and raised the slogans of "dekho dekho kaun aaya, sher aaya, sher aaya" and "Sanjay Singh zinadabad".
Wearing a white kurta-pyjama with a brown-colour jacket, the Rajya Sabha member walked out of the jail and was garlanded amidst AAP workers' sloganeering. The rose petals were also showered on him by party workers.
There was a heavy security presence outside the jail given his release. Singh climbed atop his vehicle as supporters jostled to greet him.
"Arvind Kejriwal and our leaders have been put behind bars and I am fully confident that 'ye jail ke taale tutenge hamare sare neta chhutenge (The locks of jail will break and all our leaders will come out).
"I want to say that this is not the time to celebrate, but struggle," Singh said while addressing party supporters outside the jail.
