Bengaluru- Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express: The South Central Railway (SCR) has decided to restore the Friday service of the Yesvantpur–Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express, just weeks after announcing its cancellation. The reversal follows strong demand from regular travellers who sought weekend connectivity between Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

SCR officials said passenger feedback played a key role in the decision. “As many people are requesting a weekend train, we are making necessary adjustments. It’s a bit challenging, but we will make arrangements,” said A Sridar, Chief Public Relations Officer of SCR.
Bengaluru – Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express: Schedule Details
The train operates six days a week, leaving Kacheguda at 5:45 AM and reaching Yesvantpur at 2 PM. The return service departs Yesvantpur at 2:45 PM and arrives in Kacheguda at 11 PM.
The restored Friday run is expected to improve weekend travel convenience for passengers between the two cities.
In separate news, Indian Railways has announced a Vande Bharat Festival Special train connecting New Delhi and Patna to meet the festive season rush. The service, numbered 02254/02253, will operate from October 11 to November 17, covering nearly 1,000 km in 13 hours. The train will depart New Delhi at 8:35 AM and reach Patna at 9:30 PM, while the return service will leave Patna at 10 AM and arrive in New Delhi at 11:30 PM.
During the journey, the train will stop at Aligarh, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar and Ara. Northern Railway’s Chief PRO Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay said the new service aims to provide a comfortable and safe travel experience for passengers amid increased festival traffic, further improving connectivity between Delhi and Bihar’s capital.
