Bengaluru Metro News: The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is set to develop five feeder bus routes to enhance last-mile connectivity to four stations on the proposed Namma Metro Pink Line. The upcoming services will operate with 30 buses, which will make 415 daily trips at a frequency of about ten minutes. The Hulimavu, Tavarekere, Jayadeva Hospital, and JP Nagar 4th Phase metro stations would be connected to nearby residential areas and significant locations via the proposed feeder routes.
The BMTC and Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) want to leverage API-based data integration and information exchange to deliver real-time information on approaching buses at Pink Line stations.
According to BMTC, the suggested services are subject to final operating arrangements.
