To make last mile connectivity better, the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) in partnership with the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited has officially started eight new feeder bus routes on Monday, March 9,2026.
The ridership has steadily increased since the Yellow Line has been started in August 2025. These news bus services are designed to handle the extra footfall while hopefully thinning out the notorious local traffic. The routes are strategically centered around the Hosa Road, Singasandra and Kudlu Gate stations, linking them directly to bustling residential pockets and office hubs.

New Route Highlights And Schedules
Hosa Road Ring Route: The Hosha Road metro station serves as primary transit hub, connecting two major ring road.
The first ring road connects Hosa Road Metro to areas like Central Prison, National Public School, Haralur, Agara, and Somasundarapalya, before looping back via Kudlu Gate.
Timings: First bus at 6:00 am and the last bus at 9:40 pm.
Hosa Road Ring Route (Counter-Clockwise): Sencond ring road covers the same key stops (Singasandra, Kudlu Gate, Parangipalya, Haralur Cross) in the reverse direction.
Timings: First bus at 6:15 am and the last bus at 9:20 pm.
Hosa Road to Carmelaram: A direct link via Doddamara and Chikkanayakanahalli to the Carmelaram bus stop.
Timings: Services start at 6:00 am and wrap up by 9:00 pm.
