Delhi CBSE Board Exam: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 examinations are set to take place from February 15 to April 4, 2025. In preparation, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced a series of initiatives aimed at ensuring a smooth travel experience for students.

With approximately 3.30 lakh students and numerous school staff expected to use the metro during this period, DMRC has partnered with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to enhance services at metro stations to manage the anticipated surge in passengers.

Delhi Metro: Key measures include

Priority Security Checks: Students presenting their CBSE admit cards will receive priority during security checks at metro stations.

Ticketing Assistance: Those showing their admit cards at Ticket Office Machines (TOM) and Customer Care (CC) centres will also be prioritised for ticket purchases.

School Engagement: DMRC staff have been visiting local schools to interact with principals and inform them about the nearest metro stations, as well as the support available for students.

Informative Posters: Schools are encouraged to display posters that provide details on nearby metro stations, including QR codes for easy ticket booking, helping students plan their journeys more effectively.

Centralised Announcements: Special announcements will be made at metro stations to assist students.

Online Resources: A comprehensive list of the nearest metro stations to examination centres has been made available on the DMRC website and its official mobile application.
