Delhi Weather News: Delhi's skies have been shrouded in grey for several days, culminating in a heavy downpour on Sunday evening, following a day of persistent cloudy skies. The Weather in Delhi on Monday is likely to remain pleasant with the possibility of light rain and thunderstorms in the city. There’s no weather warning in Delhi as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The weather forecast, released by the meteorological department on July 13 at 8 pm, indicates the possibility of moderate rain with thunderstorms and lightning. The sky is anticipated to remain generally cloudy. 

On Sunday, Delhi experienced an unpredictable day with clouds intermittently giving way to sunshine. While humidity persisted, it was slightly more bearable than in previous days. However, the weather took a dramatic turn in the evening, as sudden strong winds and light rain swept across various parts of the city.

Strong winds gusting up to 57 km per hour and light rain brought relief for residents from the humidity. 

According to the Meteorological Department's latest forecast, a new batch of clouds approaching from the southeast is expected to bring light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, to parts of Delhi-NCR. For Monday, the department predicts a cloudy sky with moderate rain across the city. Temperatures are expected to settle around 33°C (maximum) and 26°C (minimum). 

Delhi Weather Forecast

The weather in Delhi is likely to follow a similar pattern over the week till July 19. The Skies will remain generally cloudy with intermittent showers with thunderstorms, and lightning.

On July 14, 15, and 16, the weather will remain similar, with generally cloudy skies and moderate rain. On July 17, the sky will appear partly cloudy with very light to light rain. July 18 and 19 will follow a similar pattern to July 17.
