A tragic accident occurred in the "danger zone" of the Guradia area on the Indore-Betul National Highway in Dewas. A high-speed car collided head-on with an oncoming motorcycle. The impact was so severe that the bike was completely wrecked and all three individuals traveling on it died on the spot due to critical injuries.
Victims Identified As Mother-Son Duo And An Associate
The deceased included a mother, her son, and another man. The accident took place on Tuesday night. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the scene and initiated rescue operations. Following post-mortem examinations at the Khategaon Community Health Center on Wednesday, the bodies were handed over to their respective family members.
According to information from the Nemawar police, two of the three victims were residents of Khubgaon village. The deceased have been identified as 23-year-old Mahendra, his 65-year-old mother Narmadabai and a 45-year-old man named Chandu. While Mahendra and Narmadabai lived in Khubgaon, Chandu was originally a resident of Kheda Palani village under the Chhanera police station in Khandwa district.
Police Launch Investigation Into The Cause
Preliminary investigations suggest that the victims were heading towards Nemawar for a cattle trade deal, though their exact destination remains unclear. The police have registered a case and started an investigation to determine the specific causes of the accident.

Second Fatality: Youth Killed In Hit-And-Run
In a separate incident on Wednesday morning, a youth named Mukesh was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in the Dulwa area of Dewas. Mukesh was a resident of Dudwas village. Dr Tushar Gupta, BMO of Khategaon, stated that the post-mortem has been conducted and the body has been handed over to the family.
