Goa Rain Update: In the early hours of Thursday, a landslide occurred along a key mountain pass in Goa, disrupting the vital road connection between Goa and its neighboring state Karnataka. The landslide took place near the Dudhsagar Temple, located at the Anmod Ghat on the southern border of Goa. This strategic route is a crucial link for travellers heading to areas like Belgaum and Khanapur in Karnataka, as well as Kolhapur in Maharashtra.

Goa, a popular tourist destination, is no stranger to the challenges posed by the monsoon season. The state's picturesque landscapes and winding roads can often become treacherous during periods of intense rainfall. Authorities are now working to clear the debris and restore connectivity as soon as possible, mindful of the importance of this vital transportation artery.
