Gorakhpur-Panipat Expressway: National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is planning a 750 km long expressway which is going to reduce Balrampur and Haridwar travel time to just 6 hours. The Gorakhpur-Panipat Expressway will boost connectivity across Uttar Pradesh, connecting Purvanchal and Western UP. The expressway will also change the fate of 22 districts.
Gorakhpur-Panipat Expressway Routes
Gorakhpur-Panipat Expressway will pass through these districts:
-Purvanchal: Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich
-Central UP: Lucknow, Sitapur, Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Badaun
-Western UP: Rampur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Sambhal, Amroha, Meerut, Bijnor, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli
-Haryana: Panipat
Gorakhpur-Panipat Expressway: Work On DPR Begins
The work of preparing the DPR (Detailed Project Report) of the Gorakhpur-Panipat Expressway has begun. Earlier, the expressway was decided to end till Shamli, but now it is being extended till Panipat in Haryana. Along with this, it will also be connected to the Siliguri Expressway, which will create a new road network of North India.
Gorakhpur-Panipat Expressway: Balrampur To Haridwar In Just 6 Hours
Currently there is no direct route from Balrampur to Haridwar. After the construction of this the Gorakhpur-Panipat Expressway, this journey will become very easy and will be covered in just six hours. This can prove to be a historic change in the road network.
