Jagran Correspondent, Ranchi: The railways have stated that development works on the South Eastern Railway and Ranchi Railway Division will impact the operation of several trains on Friday. It stated that several trains will be cancelled and others will be short-terminated due to a block on the Kita-Silli section and non-interlocking work on the Howrah Link Cabin. It further advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly.

While providing details, the railways stated that the Bardhaman-Hatia-Bardhaman MEMU Express will run only up to Gomoh on Friday, adding that operations between Gomoh-Hatia-Gomoh will be cancelled. It further stated that the Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur Express will operate only up to Adra. Apart from this, the Asansol-Ranchi-Asansol MEMU passenger train will run only up to Muri on July 24.

These Trains Will Remain Cancelled:

- Hatia-Sanki-Hatia Passenger

- Hatia-Sanki-Hatia Passenger

Apart from this, Train number 18615 Howrah-Hatia Kriya Yoga Express will depart from Santragachi instead of Howrah on July 24 and 25 due to non-interlocking work at Howrah Link Cabin. The Railways further stated that the Howrah-Hatia-Howrah Express will remain cancelled on September 19 due to maintenance works at Balichak Yard of Kharagpur Division.

Railways To Operate Extra Trains

The Railways has decided to run the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Itwari-Madhupur weekly Shravani Festival Special train via Ranchi during the Shravani Mela. It stated that the decision to operate a special train was taken to manage the extra rush, adding that the extra services will provide relief to the passengers.

The Madhupur-Itwari Special train will run every Sunday between August 2 and August 30. This special train will halt at several major stations, including Rourkela, Bano, Pokla, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri, Kotshila, Bokaro Steel City, Dhanbad, and Chittaranjan. The passengers have been advised to stay updated and arrive at the station before time to escape the rush.
